How it works
Volumetric weight converts occupied space into a billable weight. It prevents light but bulky cargo from being underpriced.
Carriers assign a divisor based on transport mode. The calculator divides cubic size by that divisor and compares the result with actual weight.
The larger value becomes the chargeable weight shown on the quote or invoice.
